John Lackey
John E. Lackey has more than 30 years of collective business experience, including medical testing, military, sales, insurance, tax, commercial real estate, and business development. He has owned and operated a medical testing company, held multiple executive positions, and done business with some of the largest banking entities in the United States.
After serving his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force, John started his post-military career in the insurance and financial services industry. He worked with two of the largest senior insurance marketing agencies in the United States, including time with Amerilife in Central Florida. John worked diligently in his new career and was recognized for his success by promotion into sales management. Due to his success, he moved to North Carolina to help the company build offices throughout North and South Carolina.
John’s next adventure was with Cornerstone Senior Services, where he served as vice president of sales. While there, he recruited, hired, and trained one of the largest sales forces in the Carolinas with offices in eight locations.
In 2016 John joined and later became a managing partner with Redwood Tax Specialist. While there, he worked with some of the most esteemed tax reduction CPAs in America. His work there focused on high net worth business owners and the use of unique tax strategies.
In 2019 John and a partner founded GeneTest4U to provide genetic testing through hospitals, physician offices and clinics. Their mission was to help medical professionals diagnose and treat patients more effectively based on the patient’s unique DNA structure.
John’s philanthropic endeavors over the years have included volunteering at his Church working with various youth programs. In addition, he has served as a coach for youth football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. John has a heart for the homeless and the hungry. He has been involved in street ministries reaching out to the homeless in his community. His work focused on feeding, clothing, and instructing the homeless how to connect with local resources to help them find shelter and work so they can get off the street. Also, John supports and has volunteered with Manna foodbank, which is part of the Feeding America network.
